♥ A long night ahead of me

Over the past two weeks I have been too busy focusing on school-work and projects that I didn't have any free-time to fill up with the internet, prior to this two week absence I went on a simming-marathon and have taken a boat load of snapshots and pictures from three active saved games.

So for the rest of the night and early into the morning I will be editing these pictures and will post the outcome in story format for my Blog and Simblr. I have various different projects lined up for all of the networking sites I use for my game and it dawned on me that I hadn't posted an update recently of those plans on this Blog. At the hands of a Simblr I suppose I have let this Blog go a little, mainly because I put so much work into one post that it takes me a few days to release it but with on Tumblr everything is fast and easy.

My currently active projects include;
"Fixated" - TS3 Story
Story of a middle aged woman struggling to find her own grounds outside the world of work. We see her struggles with relationships and the desires she has for her very limited future.

"Homebound" - TS3 Short Story
Story of a young attractive woman who is trying to pathe her uncertain future. We follow her personal journey and see the familiar struggles she faces living alone.

"Drifting" - TS3 Short Story
Story of two teenage girls who hit a bump in their relationship when one of the girl's wants to be more than just friends. We see one girl struggle with accepting her sexuality and the other second guessing many things in their life.

"Lind" Legacy Challenge - TS3 Story Format
A Legacy Challenge with a twist, it is not the generic documentation of the life of the sim but instead this one is aimed with the format of a story telling aspect. Although it is the legacy and family that is being carried on I will add in twists which would make family life otherwise questionable as to whether it is suitable for them. Injecting a sense of relevance.

"Watkins" Legacy Challenge - TS3 Scrapbook Format
A documentation of the life of a woman named Rebecca Watkins who takes up residence in Twinbrook. The images will be unedited and posted as a relaxer stage between my other projects. It is something that I can have a ton of fun with but not have to think too hard on the editing process after taking the pictures and screenshots, almost like they are for a Scrapbook or memories.

Soon to be released will be the first installment of the "Lind" Legacy Challenge of which images I will be editing first. If you'd like to see more of my work you can head over to my other networks listed in the side-bar.

♥ And so it begins...

So I finally got my hands on a copy of The Sims 3 Supernatural! (thanks Dad!) I haven't fully played all of the features yet but so far it's been pretty darn good and I'm in love with the quirky fairy family I created upon first opening the game. A bit disappointed with the title screen - I want my Master Suite one back lol! The gameplay, however, is fantastic and mixes well with other EPs I have. With the indoor gardening feature it brings to the game it's going to be an absolute blast with Seasons, which I am also quite excited about.

I've just been fooling around on Supernatural for the time being but will be sure to use the game to it's fullest potential, so for now enjoy some snapshots of my fairy sims and I'll see you next time.

(I'm sure you can forgive me for the poor photo-effects)

♡ Friends on the web are the most special!

Over this past Summer my "body clock" has been literally non-existent as my sleeping pattern was all over the place. So today, or more tonight, when I should have been sleeping I was too busy browsing thesims3.com when my wonderful friend maryanngibson had uploaded a new sim.
I am in love with almost all of the sims Maryann has made and so every time she uploads a new one I check them out. Tonight I got a wonderful surprise when I saw that she has dedicated a lovely new sim to me!
Maryann is a wonderful friend whom I am so glad to have met, the internet has brought me to so
many amazing people from all different sides of the world ~ Maryann is certainly a special one, the
kindest I have met yet and she always has the right words to say. From what I know she is much older than myself but we get on so well.

I adore this new sim, especially the pink from her everyday outfit and although I don't have time to introduce this little simmie to my game tonight I will certainly make good use of my game tomorrow and post some lovely pictures of this wonderful new girlie ~ Thank you so much Maryann you are amazing!!

♥ FIRST!

Perhaps my introduction to The Sims wasn't quite as obnoxious or contemptuous as the title would suggest but one of wonder and enjoyment.  While visiting a friend's house I was curious as to the game her brother was playing and, after some convincing, he generously decided to let me play it for a bit.

I was amused to no end by the cartoon characteristics of Gunther and Cornelia Goth's two cats and that's where my love for The Sims series began. That was eight years ago and I have continued to support EA by purchasing almost all of their Sims related games and utilizing the online features, especially for The Sims 3, to the fullest degree. It seems every time I write, speak or even think of that first encounter the nostalgia sets in and for a while I feel a little bit down that The Sims series is no longer compatible with my version of windows but then I just log onto The Sims 3 or start up my Sims 2 and then I'm completely immersed.

The Sims has always been a love of mine and so I am rather excited to open this Blog. I had thought about it for a long time but put it aside too many times. As a result I don't have anything prepared - yet.
Look forward to Simful Blog posts and some of my own creations from the sims  showcased.
~ Happy simming ♥
