♥ FIRST!

Perhaps my introduction to The Sims™ wasn't quite as obnoxious or contemptuous as the title would suggest but one of wonder and enjoyment.  While visiting a friend's house I was curious as to the game her brother was playing and, after some convincing, he generously decided to let me play it for a bit.

I was amused to no end by the cartoon characteristics of Gunther and Cornelia Goth's two cats and that's where my love for The Sims series began. That was eight years ago and I have continued to support EA by purchasing almost all of their Sims related games and utilizing the online features, especially for The Sims 3, to the fullest degree. It seems every time I write, speak or even think of that first encounter the nostalgia sets in and for a while I feel a little bit down that The Sims™ series is no longer compatible with my version of windows but then I just log onto The Sims 3 or start up my Sims 2 and then I'm completely immersed.

The Sims has always been a love of mine and so I am rather excited to open this Blog. I had thought about it for a long time but put it aside too many times. As a result I don't have anything prepared - yet.
